IT TAKES LITTLE TO BE BIG!

Meet Alumni Match:  Big Brother Brad and Little Brother Johnny!

The canoe paddles may have been replaced with golf clubs but the friendship remains strong over 24 years. Brad and John were matched in 1999 when John was a shy 9 year old. Brad had limited experience with youth, but was excited to provide a fun and trusting friendship for a local child. Over the years, Brad and John spent little moments exploring new adventures, conquering John’s many fears, and just making each other laugh. Their match officially closed in 2009 when John graduated High School, but their friendship continued to flourish. Brad and John stayed in touch and have leaned on each other during tough times in both of their lives. John shared that Brad is someone he could go to with hard questions and Brad made him feel better about the world. It sounds so simple, but the impact is real and lasting. By giving today, you invest in friendships that last a lifetime.
